Line em up!

We have a very linear son. He love to line everything up especially his toy cars and books on the floor to form a bridge over the "water". The other night we had friends over for dinner and Mr. Ry decided muffins should be for dessert when asked to get it ready Big Dadyo found him with all our plates nicely lined up in the kitchen. This is just so typical for him that we decided to capture the moment!

New Years 2011/2012

New Years Eve 2011 will be a night not soon forgotten. After arriving home from playing games at a friends house, Big Daddyo ran into the house to get our babysitter to drive him home. It was a cold night so he left the engine running knowing he would only be a minute. When he came back out our van was gone. Big Daddyo's first thought was "did I put it in park?" but we soon realized it had been stolen. This was very frustrating and at the same time impressive that someone could do this with out us noticing in less than 7 min. We later got a phone call from police saying they had found our van, I was happy, then they told us it had been used in a hit and run, I was sad (thinking a person had been hit) then they said they hit a parked car, I was happy, then they said it would most likely be written off, I was sad again- what a roller coaster of emotions for this pregnant woman. I was mostly grateful that the keys were in the van as our house key was on them and I was very nervous to go to sleep.

This is our Red beauty- who only went about 4 blocks before meeting her doom.
It was a drunk driver who tried to flea the seen but was quickly captured by the canine unit.

This is the van up close and personal. because of the year, KM and both air bags deploying it was a write off- which ended up being a blessing in disguise. We received enough to buy and do maintenance of a new vehicle, without emptying the kids piggy banks- A true Miracle.

Another Blessing was that they replaced all of the kids car seats because they had been in the van at the time of the crash. Big Daddyo pointed out to Miss M that the drivers air bag was pink and that was very exciting to her!

In search for the second person who had assisted in stealing our van it was finger printed/CSI - we even got to go down and be printed to rule out our prints. Unfortunately the prints they found were Big Daddyo's but it was exciting to say the least.

We were blessed with lots of support from both family and friends during this time and truly blessed by our Father in Heaven who provided the means for us to purchase an new vehicle without any debt being acquired. We now have a new van- affectionately named Miracle!
