My Princess is 4 years old!

So Little Miss M is not so "Little" anymore. I can't believe she is now 4 years old. At her request we planned a Princess and Knight party. There were 10 children- which included my three. After realizing Big Daddyo would be at work I was grateful for a good friend Kate who came over to assist me with all the guests.

So the night before her big day I searched high and low for my birthday supplies, streamer, balloons, banner and more-still can't find whatever organized place I put it so at around 9pm I started frantically making this banner for her.It turned out pretty nice.

To help add to the princess theme I drew a castle to decorate the basement, Miss M loved it and many of her friends were eager to stand in front of the door as if they were going to really enter this fantasy!

The Table!!!

Good morning Princess, she kept asking if it was her "real" birthday. She had celebrated with Big Daddyo's family the week before and was thrilled to know that it was finally "the real" day.

We got Miss M a real doll for her birthday, not a baby. She named her Madison and we did Miss M. hair the same as her doll and she had it with her everywhere till her party started. Too cute.

We played Princess, Princess Dragon...

A few of our distinguished guests.

Hot potato, but with a poisonous apple. The kids really loved this one. One of the girls was dressed as snow white and felt she should hold onto the apple and not pass it because she was suppose to eat the apple- she made me smile.

The cake!!!

Make a wish.

What is a princess party without a Ball- they were all dancing around, and twirling. Prince Hayden was taking his turn dancing with each princess that wanted a turn.

These are the capes I made as party favors and the boys (knights) received a foam sword.

Just to let you know we did not achieve the grade we needed on the GMAT to get into the school we wanted- so after checking all of our options and a lot of Prayer we have decided to take the test again next month. Your continued prayers and support would truly be appreciated.

I Heart You!

With our Anniversary coming up on the 10th and Valentines Day on the 14th, can we just say "Love is in the air" So I've made a few things to decorate. Thanks to my Uncle I was able to find some wood to create this adorable bookshelf decoration- I love the colours and the "I" with the heart on top.

This little treasure was inspired by a wreath I love at my friend Rhonda's house. I also have seen framed art on a lot of the other craft blogs I love to follow- so combine the two and you get "I heart U". Big Daddyo thinks its more of a Valentines Day decoration only but I think it could take up permanent residency on our dresser- the colours go well and I just think it fits.

I really kinda like this romantic holiday! Also the excuse to make and decorate... I've also started our family Moto on a wooden board and a few Easter decorations. I will post these when they are completed. Tonight I am off to finish the last 3 of 6 princess capes that will be our favors at Miss M's big Birthday Bash on Thursday. I can't believe it was 4 years ago that she was born. So Five years ago on the 10th I married the Man I fell in Love with and four years ago a week before our anniversary I fell in love again with our first born, My little girl.

Oh!, another wonderful thing about the "love" holiday is that I found the cutest little mailbox for 25c at a thrift store. We will be using this to exchange Valentines within our family!!! Please share any Valentine Day traditions or crafts you have made to decorate your homes.
