Daddy can I drive?

Yesterday we were headed out and Big daddyo asked if I wanted him to drive, I said yes and then Miss M. pippes up with " I drive daddy? " We both laughed as we thought we had at least 12 more years befor we thought she would ask for the keys. They do grow quickly.

Mr. Ry's big delema

Mr. Ry after 8 long months of thought and meditation has decided to become a pro soccer player. Taking on such an ambitiouse career has taken its toll on young Mr. Ry, there were times when he did not know what to do- fan pressure, money, travel...

He has learned to fit his workouts into his busy schedual and loves to stretch before a big game.

With many adoring fans, Mr. Ry is very patient and always willing to pose for a picture. I'm not sure if its his smile, double chin, manly legs or the combination that all the ladies adore.

Well good luck to you Mr. Ry as you take on this big job of being a proffesional soccer stud. We will always cheer for you!!!

Easter Fun!!!

Easter is so much more fun with little children in the picture- don't you agree?!
We had a fun weeken with the Grandparents- decorating eggs, hunting for baskets and eggs, eating chocolate, and simply enoing a long weekend together.

Mr. Ry Loved trying to pick up the rolling egg placed before him- at least 8min of entertainment, not bad for a boy with a 3 min. attention span. :)

It sure makes you feel like a kid again to pick each colour with care and then display the perfect egg. And when its time to eat it you cringe as your master piece is shattered- literally.

Big daddyo was ver focused on making the most beautiful egg of all...

Please feel free to admire our Works of Art!!! Big daddyo's family also has a tradition of something called egg wars- this is when two people each pick an egg and then as one holds it still the other bangs their egg- starting head to head and then butt to butt, and whoevers does not break is the champion. Miss M. loved this and challenged anyone she could find. A girl on a mission.

Our new Home

We are sooooo blessed we were able to get in with low-income housing!! They found us a three bedroom free standing house with a fenced yard to boot. The only bad part was having 10 days to pack and get ready to move. But when life hands you lemons- lemonaid is just around the corner as my mom (flew) went the distance to help us out. We not only packed, unpacked, cleaned, made curtans, did 72 hour kits and easter baskets... but also enjoyed a few quite moments to savour our time with Grandma S.. Miss M. even started calling out "mommy" if no response " daddy" if still no response "Grandma"- she realy misses her and formed yet another strong bond with her Grandma from the east. Mr Ry also enjoyed many giggle and cuddle seccions with his loving Grandma. Enjoy these pictures of our new home and use your imagination to piece them together for a compleete home!!! Love you all!

Mr. Ry survives RSV...

Poor Mr. Ry had is first hospital stay ( aside from his b-day) On an early sunday morning we proceeded to the ER as Mr. Ry was stuggling to breath and refusing to eat as he could not get enough air at the same time. They ran several tests and even did a chest x-ray on the little guy and then sent us home. Later in the afternoon they called to let us know hehad a respiratory virus known as RSV- that night he got worse so I returned with him only to be admitted till thursday. The biggest challenge was being in a room the size of a bathroom on quarantine. Fortunatly all of the nurses and respiratory tech were fantastic- the volunteeres even took the time to do crafts and play with Miss M. to help pass the time.We had lots of family support and may friend helped with Miss M. and brought countless meals to our little family. Thanks to all for your love and support! - This was the sad excuse for a crib, most night he just slept with me on th sad little cot.

Miss M's turning 2!!!

Well Miss M. has finaly hit the terrific two's. She was thrilled to go to her regular library program wearing a birthday pin to let her friends know it was her specal day. Later in the week she had a music party with a few of her friends. We sang wheels on the bus, old Mc Donald and even made shakers for each guest to play with while we sang.
